Multi-media artist Joycemarie Washburn has spent a lifetime centered around the creative process. Her academic foundation began at Barnard, where she earned her bachelors in Art History. She followed up with graduate studies in Fine Arts and Archaeology at Columbia University, and a Masters degree in Art Education from the College of New Rochelle. Since that time, she has produced a prolific body of work, all of it a celebration of color, texture and playful inquiry.
